Welcome to Tanager Rainforest Lodge: An Eco-Luxury Sanctuary in Southern Belize
It is one of Southern Belizes first Ecolodges, having been established by a British American couple in 2001.
Since 2023, The Lodge has been under new management. Its vision is to be the top small lodge in Belize that delivers great service & experiences in terms of hospitality, dining, local culture and nature.
It is uniquely situated 10 minutes from the Maya ruins, 30 minutes from the ocean and surrounded by rainforest, gardens, birds and on three sides a river.
This easy access to the natural wonders sets us apart and one doesn’t have to be driving hours to see them. Our tours and activities introduce you to Maya culture, birding, chocolate making, rainforest hikes, kayaking, paddle boarding, horseback or mule riding, etc. We also have a in house restaurante, gym and spa.
The lodge offers elegant accommodation, fine food and drink onsite birding, onsite river activities, onsite gym and spa, onsite horseback riding and a pledge of excellent service and relaxing.
