Gift Shop
Our gift shop features local crafts produced by the Kek’chi and Mopan Maya of southern Belize.
These crafts include baskets woven from jippi jappa palm as well as hand made carved rosewood bowls and salad sets
Some craftsmen carve from slate while others use the gourds of the calabash to depict Mayan gods and deities.
We offer guests a wide selection of gifts (handicrafts, books and clothes) and field guides. We provide a shop window for locally produced handicrafts and help to stimulate the design and production of a wider range of locally produced goods and ensure that local craftspeople get a fair price for their work.
